Jemsite Pricing Guide

Below is a pricing guide for JEM & Universe guitars in the USA. It is only a pricing estimate, so please use common sense when buying and selling. Listed are commonly seen prices for Used guitars through standard classifieds, private sellers or dealers. New prices are strictly from authorized Ibanez dealers. All prices would include JEM case and assume excellent condition. As expected, you will pay higher prices if you are in a rush to buy and/or if the guitar is in dead mint condition, N.O.S (new old stock) untouched and unplayed. If you're patient enough it's possible the guitar you want will appear for sale online at a very reasonable price. Many JEM/UVs are advertised by dealers online for more, and as we all know, remain unsold month after month. Just because one JEM sold high on auction, does not mean every future guitar will sell high. All it takes is one idiot (or devoted buyer - your call) to skew the pricing. Some dealers are trying to artificially create a "collector's demand" for these guitars, when we all know the average JEM/UV fan is a player!
