Eric Sands of
"The Generation Ibanez Project" and "Man on Fire" was chosen to jam
with Steve Vai live before a full house at Atlanta's Variety Playhouse
on November 30th. The two guitarists traded licks over a funk progression,
then went on to perform a twisted version of Zeppelin's "Black Dog".
The jam was a
result of winning a guitar playing contest put on by Guitar Center
and Vai. "It was an honor to play alongside my favorite guitar hero."
