Priced for the hobbyist and looks for the professional! featured

Sound When first testing the Ibanez exotic wood line of acoustic guitars, there are several things that strike you. Both plugged up and natural acoustic, its sound is wonderful and prestine. Its built in preamp would fool you for a guitar costing easily $1000 (same thing for its action and finish). Its bright without being harsh or crass. Its woody and natural without being dull or cheap sounding. It transfers the nuances of your playing extrordinary well and naturally sounding through the electronics when plugged up (and even better through the built in XLR jack if the venue wants to DI the guitar!). It sounds rich and full of life. Simply put, this guitar is one you can tool around with at home, take on the road and impress the fans, take to the studio, and it never break your wallet. WELL DONE IBANEZ!

Action, Fit, & Finish You can see this guitar coming a mile away. Against racks of $1000 Taylor, Martin and Gibson guitars the exotic wood Ibanez guitars explode with quilted tops that grab your attention. The bound tops and fretboards are not only exquisite to look at but AMAZING TO PLAY! I. Cannot. Stress. This. Enough. When your eyes float to the rad 12th fret inlay that is the only thing that decorates the fretboard, the slightly low action makes for incredibly sweet playing (as fast too); its very reminiscent of playing an electric guitar. Setup from the factory is absolutely top notch and makes for rocking out and jamming in any style a breeze (maybe with the exception of slide, who players might need it raised). I would give it a pure 10/10!

Reliability & Durability Top notch quality from Ibanez. The lacquer is not just for showing off the amazing top...its pretty functional. Needs to be wiped down just like any other guitar. The electronics dont suffer from breakdowns like their ultra expensive competitors (Gibson!)...I would gig this guitar night after night without a backup!

Customer Support Ibanez (as always) and their dealers have awesome customer support.

Liked about it 1) GORGEOUS looks.
2) Toneful for most styles.
3) Fantastic playability.

Didn't like 1) Blues players might need action raised.
2) XLR Jack on bottom looks kind tacky if you never use it.
3) Didn't come with a case.

Amazing! Best sound for valueguitar out there!

Sound Beautiful clear tones, nice high end without sounding shrill. Didn't get to plug it in though. It made the twice as expensive Takamine next to it sound like mud!

Action, Fit, & Finish Superb! Matt finish looks great, nice timbers used in construction. Guitar is finished really well too, no rough workmanship anywhere. Action very low with NO buzz at all!!! It felt almost as good as a Babicz!!! And that's saying a lot! For someone with chunky fingers like mine that the good Lord "blessed" me with, it was very easy to play. I find it very hard to play most acoustics but this was dream.

Reliability & Durability Seemed strongly built on inspection, felt really solid. Although "Made in China" on the sound-hole sticker may be a concern for some? It still felt good I must say.

Liked about it Sound, timbers used, finish, construction and the amazing price.

Didn't like No case but at the price you'll have a lot left over to pay for a case! I can't play acoustic to save my life! But that's not the guitar's fault I guess!
