I had been looking for colored guitar strings for a while but didn't hear very good things about some of the more prominent makers. An internet search led me to Aurora and I ordered sets in different colors. The first set I installed was the Luminescent Green set and I'm extremely happy. I listened to the guitar both before and after with the same settings and the Aurora sound was brighter (not in the treble sense) and more round/full. The color hasn't worn off and it's been near a month. Evidently Aurora figured out a new manufacturing process that embeds the color into the strings instead of simply coating and this lends both to the staying power of the color and the power and sustain of the strings.

UPDATE: The quality of these strings is standing up to the test of time--I've had a Silver set on a Les Paul for a few weeks now and they still sound as good as new with a good amount of play on them, and no color degradation thus far. The blue set I installed on my JEM lost a little bit of the color around the picking area. Great product!!

Liked about it	Priced about the same as a standard set of strings. Great colors and color varieties. Color holds up well and strings have great sound.
Didn't like	Wish they would have been easier to find?
