Very Good set of strings
Comments
I bought the strings one day when I was out at a local guitar center. I bought a few of the custom wound Slinkys before I looked over and saw these. I thought to myself, "Ah, what the hell, might as well give these a shot." so I took them home and restrung my cheep LP ripoff that I bought in Mexico a few years back with them. I plugged in, an to my amazement, it sounded ten times better than before! They worked really well with my cheap pickups. It sounded better than my authentic Gibby. I would strongly suggest getting these. They are amazing, and not too expensive either.

I liked the sound they brung to my guitar. I also liked how long they lasted. I go through strings quickly, and these lasted a month or two on my LP.

Ernie Ball Regular Slinky
Comments
Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings are a classic for guitarists. Players from Eric Clapton to Steve Vai use the Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings to get their sound.

-Quality: Never have broke one ever. You get a great string for the price. I bought some D'Adario's before and only got 5 strings. Then my dad bought some like a week later and the same thing happen.
-Value: One of the cheapest price, but best sounding. How can you go wring with that?
-Sound: They sound perfect from the start till you change them. I get great tone and never have used others that sound better.

Pretty awesome strings
Comments
I've always been an Ernie Ball man - I've never really liked any other string manufacturer. Any other strings feel kind of weird to me. I've only ever owned guitars with a 25.5" scale length, so I always put .009s on there because I thought that I wouldn't be able to play properly with any higher gauge strings. How wrong I was! I moved to a set of .010s (Regular Slinkys) and found that I absolutely loved them. Not only do they sound thicker, more full, but they sustain more and stay in tune better. They also improved my playing; my vibrato became more accurate and subtle and my speed picking was enhanced. They come in a sealed pack now so that they're totally not oxidised when you put them on.

PURE NICKEL!!!!! YEAH!!!!!
Comments
I tried these just to try them. I found them not overly bright (which I love) I hate really bright strings where I almost want to put the guitar off to the side for a week before they die alittle before I can play them.
Pure Nickel isn't as bright as other makes of strings. I LOVE THESE!

Good and Getting Better
Comments
These strings are my personal choice and have been for years. Tried others and always seem to come back. The only reason I try others is the search for tonal longevity.

Liked about it
Great initial tone
* Good "play"
* Consistant tuning after normal break in
|
Didn't like
Loss of a few tonal nuances sooner than expected, but with the newer style packaging (sealed, not enveloped) this seems to be less of a problem.

Good cheap strings
Comments
I used these and the 9-42 gauge versions for years on my guitars. They sounded great to me although I originally bought them because of their price. My only complaint is that they loose that new string tone pretty quickly and I've found some other brands, D'Addario, work a little better for me. I still keep a few packs around for spares if I break a string.

1. Good bright tone when new.
|
Didn't like
1. The new string tone and snappyness doesn't last long.
2. They tarnish and dirty up more quickly than some other brands out there.
