Very Poor. This must be the first G-string I don't want to play with.

I bought these to try them out and fitted them to me Maison Les Paul. I wasn't expecting them to be the best strings I ever heard, but I was surprised at how they sounded. I felt that they were actually pretty poor and significantly worse than pretty much any other string I have tried.
They have a quite a bright sound, particularly on the bottom 3 wound strings. This is not a particular problem, but worth mentioning if that is the kind of thing you like. To be honest the plain strings just sound dead, particularly the G-string and as well as this it actually felt unpleasant and tighter than the rest. Almost as if it was second hand. I don't know if it is the particular material used, but they feel and sound horrible. They almost clatter rather than ring, even on a well set up guitar.
