Ibanez Art 100

Simple and effective, the 22 frets, 24.75 inch scale ART is a classic single cutaway guitar that was built for modern metal players. The mahogany body is capable of producing traditional warm tones with a fast neck, superior hardware, and customized pickups.

Ibanez Art 100

Sound I purchased this guitar a year ago in white. It is a beautiful guitar. I really like the art design inlay at the 12th fret. And I actually really like how there are no other inlays. The fret markers on the top of the neck are very easy to see and I prefer that. I play a lot of rock and some blues. I currently don't have any effects pedals. Running it through my Peavey Delta Blues. I found the guitar was a bit flat actually. Just didn't have the bite that I was looking for so I changed the pickups to Seymour Duncans and the guitar is totally different now.

Action, Fit, & Finish The finish on the guitar is great, nice and shiny. I wish the action was a bit lower. When I lower the action I get a lot of fret buzz.

Reliability & Durability The guitar is as reliable as any I have seen. The guitar stays in tune for quite awhile. I usually double check the tune every time I go to play and most times I don't have to tune much if at all. If I'm not playing hard it will stay in tune all day long. The electronics work well. I have had issues with out big name brands electronics but not with my Ibanez. I'm sure that this guitar will stand the test of time if it is looked after properly.

Customer Support I haven't had to deal with Ibanez on any issues. The people at the store where I bought have looked after any issues I have had. Which was only adjusting the neck during the winter.

Liked about it I like how well it stays in tune. I like the neck quite a bit. Very comfortable.

Didn't like I wish I could get the action lower. Not sure if is poor quality fretting but when I try to lower the action is buzzes quite a bit. It doesn't seem to have a lot of sustain either.

Overall satisfaction:
