REVIEW: I've played a few ibanez's before. I've had an rg350dx, rg1570 prestige and my current PGM, but I can honestly say the j custom is one of the best guitars ive played.
SPECIFICATION:
Body : Flamed Maple(Top), Mahogany(Back)
Neck : 5 Piece?Maple?Bubinga??Wizard neck
Finger board : Rosewood?Flame Maple binding?
Fret : Custom Jumbo
Bridge : Edge Pro
Neck Pickup : DiMarzio Air Norton(H) neck pu
Middle Pickup : DiMarzio Blue Velvet(S) mid pu
Bridge Pickup : DiMarzio Tone Zone(H) bridge pu
The J-Custom is quite bright and noisy. I play progressive metal (Between The Buried and Me) and because of that I require a variety of tones, from thick distortion to smooth cleans and the j-custom definitely delivers. I play the j-custom through a Mesa Boogie Mark IV, which is also a very versatile, and i also use an ISP Decimator noise suppression pedal. I strung the j-custom with Ernie Ball 11-54s so the strings are still very bright which personally i dont like, i like my strungs slightly worn out. I had to lower the Tone Zone bridge pickup because the it had TOO much output.

I bought this guitar "used" off ebay, but to be honest the guitar was in almost-perfection condition minus a few dings. The guitar looks beautiful, flamed maple top and in Transparent Turqoise, which is quite an uncommon colour for guitars these days.
