Sound This guitar has a set of DiMarzio X2N pickups in it, so as you can imagine, its great for metal. The sound is very distorted, and heavy. There is a very big, and nice difference between the sounds of the bridge pickup and the neck pickup. The neck pickup has that classic neck pickup tone. Over all the sound is fantastic. As always, I use D'Addario XL 9's and the Digitech GSP1101.

Action, Fit, & Finish I did buy this thing brand new, but it had sat in the store for well over a year. Amazingly enough, with all the paws that were touching it, it has not one scratch. The setup was of course horrible, even after the guy at the store set it up. I had to take it to my "usual guy" to get the job done right. He mentioned a flaw or 2 in the manufacture of the neck, but hey, its a handmade guitar. Ya gotta let some things slide right? He also adjusted everything else, pickups, intonation, action, neck..... So I am not sure how the pickups were, but i can assume they were adjusted incorrectly.

Reliability & Durability the finish on this thing is fantastic. Its thick, has a beautiful mirror shine and no flaws I can see. There is a slight tuning problem, so i wouldn't take it without a backup, but I am working on that. It just slides a bit out of tune over the course of a few songs, and i am really light on my strings.

Customer Support Nope

Liked about it Did I mention the finish yet? Its fan-freakin-tastic. The wood its made of, the binding and the inlays are stunning. Plus, it has a light up sword at the 12th fret. Is there anything kewler? It glows neon green, the control is on the tone knob.

Didn't like Only the tuning problem. I don't know what it is. The strings are stretched, and wraped around the post at least 3 times on each. The bridge doesn't move, and the tuners don't move. No floating trem. I am at a loss, for now.
