ESP LTD M-103 Flame Maple Electric Guitar See-Thru Black
Searched ESP LTD M-103 Flame Maple Electric Guitar See-Thru Black in Reviews
One of the better $300 range metal guitars current
| Sound |
This is a classy looking metal guitar for the price, with a see-thru flamed top in black/gray, maple neck and ESP stamped double locking tremolo. It has a wide neck with a thin U shape and jumbo frets. It is on the brighter sounding side, because of the maple neck. One thing that makes this nicer than the other LTD/ESP guitars in its range is the body is made of basswood. So it's actually a "real" and popular tone wood. It has 1 bridge humbucker and 2 single coils. There are plenty of tonal options. It has very unique features for anybody wanting a maple neck metal guitar for the lowest price, I haven't found anything else similar new at this cost.

It was actually set up decent out of the box. The finish looked very even on the guitar body. I noticed no high frets or buzz on the fretboard. Nice quality work, especially since this guitar is made in China and if they're all made like this they're a bargain.
