Great semi-hollowbody for Les Paul users

Sound	The guitar sounds nice and woody like I would expect a semi-hollow to sound. Not super warm, but not too bright. The pickups (57's I believe) favor a cleaner sound, but sound good with an overdriven or high gain distortion as well. As you might expect the guitar excels with a 'jazz' clean tone. I am a rock/ jazz player and do about equal clean and distorted sounds. I use this with an Egnater Custom shop Mod 50 with the Bassman and SL2 modules through a Mesa or Marshall 4x12 with V30's. I use D'Addario EXL 115's (11's).
Action, Fit, & Finish	I did buy this guitar used but I do all my own setup work. After properly setting it up, it can get a nice low action. It kinda plays like a mix between an acoustic and an electric as far as feel, but it really is fun to play. You do have to work a little harder than say a Ibanez RG. There were some weird flaws in the binding and finishing that definitely originated from the factory. Not what I would expect from a $2600 instrument.
Reliability & Durability	I would say it is very reliable and durable, but you would have to be a little more careful since it is not a solid-body. I would never gig without a second guitar as a backup, but that is more about breaking strings than anything else. The gold on the pickups will eventually fade, but that is my experience with all guitars with a gold finish on metal.
Customer Support	I have never had to deal with Gibson.
