Capabability and Versatilty combined
Sound
The stock pups is the Freeway SA are more than respectable, offering a girthy yet not muddy sound from the bridge pickup and full and clear sound from the neck pup. I play hardrock/metal/prog type stuff....all original. While I owned this guitar I was playing through a hard to find first generation Peavey Transfex 2x12 combo. I also had a Roland GR-20 at that time. Though I didn't have really have the time to deal with the learning curve of the GR-20, the 13 pin input worked flawlessly on the Godin, and in the hands of someone more patient than I was at the time, really offers a virtually limitless array of sound and tonal options

Action, Fit, & Finish
My SA was bought new, but was a factory second due to some minor cosmetic flaws. The action, fit and with the exception of the cosmetic flaws.....finish were topnotch all around, especially on a guitar at this price point. The trem worked smoothly and functioned very niceley indeed. The neck while not being a wide/flat/thin affair like an Ibanez Wizard, wasn't a baseball bat feeling thing either......right in the middle ground, and definitely comfortable.

Reliability & Durability
I think this would be a very dependable axe in any context. I wouldn't gig without a backup for any trem equipped guitar....be it a locking or non locking trem. Despite the fact mine was a factory second due to finish flaws, I thought the finish was very well done otherwise.

Never had to deal with Godin.

Liked about it
Loved the versatility and options on this one, as well as the build quality and overall quality of it's seperate components.

Didn't like
Nothing I didn't like about it per se. I would of liked it to have a maple board, and in a perfect world I suppose I might of liked something along the lines of an Evo or Tone Zone in the bridge, although that's a minor quibble as the stock pickups aren't bad at all. Lastly more finish options would be a welcome addition too.
