Snappy,percussive,yet strangely bright. I've used both piezo and non piezo models and both are versatile with the piezo equipped model being extremely intuitive and broad in tones and controls.
Through a mesa roadking II I could get a tone that reminded me of my jp6/roadster combo but with more attack.The Dimarzio pickups were suited for high gain transparency it seems and that is definately a plus if you want your super fast appregios and tap heavy solos to come through the mix in great form.
On the other end of the spectrum the piezo equipped model through a Laney lionheart or a Fender Vibro Champ can redefine your opinion on clean tones. It sounds like you can hear every ridge in your fingerpring on the strings....very very nice.
I used no effects in either of my trials and both were set up with ghs 9's.

Both fly's were set up well (a little higher than super shred territory but not far off) Store set up/.
The mahogany is beautiful in it's simplicity and would look great in any situation... even if the body style wouldn't. No manufacturing flaws to be noticed. Pickups weren't too close or too far from the strings...
The trem is very smooth but in no way is it a ofr or a musicman jp wonder.

I have dealt with Parker before the Washburn buyout...back then they were helpful but that was a while ago.
