I hate changing strings on my locking trem guitars. It almost feels as if putting on new strings take longer than you blackening those same new strings through playing. And when the strings do get darker in color, the smoothness fades from them, making it hard to slide up and down the fretboard.
The Fast-Fret saved me quite a lot of times for when I have fairly old strings. Guitar playability suffering from poor strings? Wipe some of the stuff on your strings, and sliding and fast playing become easier again. Don't change strings yet when they go darker, just get your Fast-Fret and wipe on.
The oil on the Fast-Fret is great not only for strings, but also for dry fretboards. I got my RG2550E with such a dry rosewood fretboard, but after wiping some Fast-Fret on it, the look improved so much and stayed that way ever since.

I can't play without it

I've been using it forever and I can't live without it.
It not only clean up your fretboard as it lubricates strings and frets taking away that scratchy noise
awesome when recording)and making your guitar easier to play.
I use it everyday when I start playing ,it comes with a cloth to wipe down after each use.

Fast Frets as advertised.

Like the name of the product implies, this product cleans your fretboard and leaves frets feeling fast. Pretty simple; apply with the stick and wipe off with the cloth provided with the product. It's good at getting up dirt (I believe the active ingredient is mineral oil) but I use this product sparingly. I clean my fretboard maybe every other or every third string change. In general I don't want to get too much oil (and dirt) building up in the wood grain of the fretboard - especially in rosewood boards. I also rotate cleaners between this, Dunlop 65 Ultimate Lemon Oil, and Kyser Dr. Stringfellow Lem-Oil.
As mentioned by others, Fast-Fret works fairly well but it can make the board too slippery. I use a lot of bends and vibrato in my playing so I don't really use this before a show.

String/Time/Money Saver

String changing is a pain for most all of us. I'm sure the people that invented this magic stuff didn't like changing strings either. Extreme fretboard sliding becomes super easy after you apply this stuff. Also, the application itself is really simple, "Glides on, Wipes off." That's what the container says, and its very true.

It also extends the life of your guitar strings, supporting my point of saving time and money.
Actually brightens the sound of the strings, just like the advertising says.

Sometimes the strings will become too slippery, resulting in quite a few noticeable mistakes
Leaves an oily residue on your fingers, even after you wipe off the strings
It comes packages in a flimsy plastic container now, it used to be in a sturdy metal tube.

Good as a quick fix.

I was slightly disappointed with the GHS fast fret. It does make your strings feel like new but once it wears of (and that doesn't take too long) you fall flat on your feet back into reality.
I can see the use in live settings, where you feel the slide of your strings has gone and you've got another half hour left of your set. Slide on, wipe of and keep on rocking. But for daily use this is just Snake Oil in my opinion.
I have not been able to hear any change in tone when this GHS Fast Fret is applied.

That is a simple product : it lubricates the string and the fretboard feels more comfortable afterward.
My sweat is apparently extremely acid, which is a bitch to play electric guitar. Seriously, sometimes it' just ridiculous how fast the string dims and rusts - and I clean them before and after playing. The Fast Fret has allowed me to make the string last longer and feel better for longer as well. I slide and bend a lot, so it has made a significant difference for me.
When my bass player first tried it, he became utterly enthusiastic about it, and still is.

Some good and some bad

I don't like fastfret much,because i could see the strings go ruin faster. I agreed that it makes the fingerboard fast, but not protecting string is bad. I also don't like its smell. Its made of coconut oil for sure.
