This is all that I use

Comments I found out about these from one of the guys at my local store, and immediately checked out the website. I thought that they were a bit expensive at $4 per pick, so it just sat in my mind for a while because I never acted upon it. Later, on a trip to Japan, I was checking out a store in Tokyo to se all of their exotic guitars, and I saw that they had these in their pick section. I tried one out, and immediately fell in love. I bought the one fro the store, and bought more once I go home.

-The material grips your hand more as it gets hotter, so people with sweaty hands need not to worry, even with the completely smooth surface of this pick.
-Nice and thick, very loud and clear with an acoustic.
-Really fast bevelled edges, I agree that it's increased my playing speed.

Liked about it -Best pick I've ever played with, no doubt my favorite.
-Sharp and thick, plays quickly.
-Available in a glow-in-the-dark material on the company's website

Didn't like -The clear ones are nearly impossible to find if you do happen to drop them, which isn't very often.
-Expensive.
-If you start using this, you'd better start carrying your own picks around because every other pick you'll play with will feel like a potato chip

V-picks are the next great thing!

Comments This is a fairly quick review of what I considered to be a game-changer for me. Back at the 2008 NAMM show, I was approached by Vinni Smith of V-Picks to try out their product. I had been a Dunlop Stubby user for 15+ years. So, I tried Vinni's picks over that weekend. I was a demo player for Madison Amps at the time and I was really surprised that by the close of the NAMM show, I hadn't picked up the Dunlop picks at all and I was just using the V-Pick.

The model that I use is called the "small pointed". It is a shredder's pick through and through. Most shredders will agree that you need to have a pointy pick to do nice fluid sweeps, alternate picking and overall articulation on the strings. I get this very easily with this pick. I became an artist for Vinni and I absolutely don't even leave my house without one... because, you just never know. :) Most guitar players reading this will know where I am coming from!

In short, they have been a pleasure to work with and I truly love the product. They have many different types of picks and every now and then Vinni will send me a couple of varieties to let other players check them out. I really think that almost any player will find a pick to their liking from V-Picks. I feel that some players take the pick for granted but maybe I am just THAT picky - no pun intended. How about... hard to please?

They are available thru the website. Please check the link in this review.

Liked about it 1. Love the fact that they stay in your hands better than most picks
2. They really make a difference in the harmonics and sweep picking
3. They just look damn cool!

Didn't like I can't find anything I didn't like with these and I mean that sincerely! I wish they were out years ago instead of just recently.

Not great than others say...

Comments This pick looks nice. I ordered one of these and took me a while to get it in the mail box. These picks are too fat and takes out the nice singing notes from regular flat picks. One major problem with this pick is that the edges are too pointy and makes the strings "clinging" or "click" noise every time I pick. Makes the notes too bright sometimes

Liked about it 1. Nice looks
2. Nice grip, somewhat confortable
3. Really smooth feeling

Didn't like 1. Can't shred much with this thing... It doesn't help you to play fast as lot of other guys say but hey, this is just my opinion
2. makes the strings "clicking" noise everytime I pick
3. Defeats the point of them called a "pick". This pick basically brush the strings instead of "picking"
