The best channel switcher out there

Sound	My main guitars are a Gibson Les Paul with 490R/ 498T humbuckers and a Fender Eric Johnson Strat with EJ single coils. My musical styles are metal and jazz. Just to clarify, this is for the handmade in the US Egnater amp, not the ones you see in Guitar Center. They are two different animals I assure you. Let me start by saying I spent the better part of three years researching and trying out high end tube amps. It took that long to figure out exactly what sound I was going for and also what features were most important to me. In those three years I actually purchased a bunch of nice tube amps, but none had everything I was looking for. I had some amazing sound clips I had heard from amp floating around in my mind for a couple years, but I was always hesitant to buy one because my local Egnater custom dealer couldn't ever keep them in stock. Plus, Egnater was really backed up a the time because they had a lot of orders to complete. Finally, I decided to put a deposit on a Mod 50 and save up the rest. At that time, these was around a 6 month waiting period. Let me tell you, is was totally worth it! After having my Egnater for a year, I have sold all of my amps but two others. It is such an incredible sounding amp. I have the SL2 and Bassman modules with mine, and they both sound incredible. The SL2 is like a hotrodded high gain Marshall without any of the pitfalls of a Marshall, plus a healthy low end.. The Bassman module is a killer clean to dirty module based around an old Fender Bassman. There are many other modules you can buy, but these two totally do it for me. Just amazing tone.
Reliability	I am extremely confident in my Mod 50's reliability. And if I ever needed to change output tubes, I could hook up my multimeter to the test points on the back of the amp and bias it myself!
