Sound
Overall the amp sounds very good. It is not a modeling amp, so the distortion is created with transistors or diodes, but it sounds as good as any stomp box (like a Boss DS-1 to my ears). I will say that I have really had to work to get a sound I like. There is something about the interaction of the tone controls that make this amp more difficult to work with. I have found some tones I like though.

Reliability
Older Marshall amps had issues with the power caps breaking loose with rough handling (the leads were cut to short). I have no idea if they have remedied this. As a relatively cheap amp, there is a lot of plastic and I would expect the input jacks to fail sooner than later.

Great. I sent them an email on a Sunday night and had a reply by Monday morning.

Liked about it
It has 4 channels with 4 different voices, built in effects, reverb and echo, switchable effects loop (wow!), easy to program, solid cabinet, decent tone if you are willing to work for it, built in tuner.

Didn't like
Not a plug and play amp, cheap parts (included foot switch broke in less than a week), tuner only works with optional foot switch (extra $60), stupid "MG" logo on front ruins the look of the amp.
