You can play from cristine clean to metal tones.One of the most versatile amp ever and with an amazing tone.
It has 2 channels and 3 modes.Channel 1 is clean,channel 2 can be rhythm or lead,you can switch it with its footswitch.
You don't need distortion pedals to boost this amp cause it has more distortion than you'll never need.
It has the famous mesa graphic equalizer which you can choose if it'll affects all channels or clean channel,rhythm or lead.
It has a fx loop,plug your pedals or rack processors and you're ready to rock.
It has a recording out with speaker simulator.
You can even set it to be a preamp and send its sound to a poweramp and run how many cabs you need.

Amazing tube tones,built like a tank,it looks like a tool and not like a toy and it's LOUD.
Instead of buying digital stuff buy this monster on ebay for about 500 usd.

John Petrucci have a mesa wall of tones so I decided to record some DT samples to mproove you don't have to spend thousands
to have Petrucci tones.
Samples show 3 tones = clean,crunch and lead.
They were recorded using a shure sm57 directly to pro tools.
Clean tones are dry.
Distortion tones are dry.
Lead tone has delay.
Guitar is an ESP M2 de luxe with evolution bridge and hotrail neck.
