Nice amp for the price featured

Sound I use this amp mainly for low volume practice but I has also used it in a live mix. I am primarily a classic rock and heavy rock player. I've tried several guitars with this amp and they are sounded good (SC and HB equipped guitars, even piezos). It's a pretty versatile amp, especially with the 5-button foot switch. I like the Super Reverb model for clean quite a bit. Not exactly like a real Super Reverb (which I have to compare to) but pretty darn close, especially considering speaker and cabinet configuration differences. My other fav models are the UK 80s and modern UK. Sounds pretty decent low but opens up nicely when you're moving some air. No problem hearing it in a live mix over a heavy handed drummer.

I originally got a spider IV and returned it for this. I like the features available in the spider IV but the tone and feel wasn't happening for me. I'm happy with the VT50, which I am using for practicing at low volume mainly.

Reliability I've only had it a few months and have not had a problem with it. Seems durable.

Liked about it The amp is very versatile and has a nice valve feel to it for picking dynamics. It's not very heavy and is very portable with its built in effects, which are pretty decent btw.

Didn't like Wished it had a CD/MP3 input jack and boost setting, although you can get around the boost setting by programming a 'normal' amp model channel and 'boosted' off the same model on different channels. With the footswitch that give 4 models with a normal and pushed model so to speak.

Best Combo Modelling Amp! featured

Sound I usually use this amp for Metal and it doesn't really cut it without a Ibanez TS9 in-front of it UNLESS you are playing the amp at high volumes, It sounds more full, alive and gainy. I use 2 different Ibanez RG's, a stratocaster, a Jackson KVX10 and a Slammer explorer. All of these guitars have upgraded dimarzio pick-ups and all of these guitars sound different through this amp, Especially the stratocaster! I have my settings set as -: Treble: 3 o'clock, Mid: 1 o'clock and Bass: 2 o'clock, I haven't touched these settings since i've put them in, really screams metal with the TS9. Amp is not noisy at all due to it having a noise gate built in and in can be set to whatever noise reduction level as you want. Clean channel is VERY crisp clean, no mud or distortion, unless you are using high output pick-ups ;)

Reliability I have gigged with this amp a couple times and it has NEVER let me down, absolutely solid ! :D even dropped it on its front and no damage whatsoever! I would and have gigged with it without a back up :)

Customer Support Never needed it.

Liked about it 1. Versatile
2. Durable
3. Built-in Noise reduction unit.

Didn't like 1. Amount of gain at low volume
2. Effects could've been better...
3. Everything else is good haha :D
