Fender Frontman 15G Guitar Combo Amp

Good amp for beginners.
| Sound |
The clean sound on this amp is pretty good, even for such an inexpensive amp. The overdrive on it, however, sounds terrible. It's very hard to discern any notes on it's overdrive. Also, whenever I was on the amp's overdrive, I always got radio signals (I could listen to ESPN from my amp, which was kind of cool, but ridiculously annoying at the same time). Now, I play a lot of rock, metal (hair, progressive, thrash, death, viking), country and classical. The amp was really good for the clean twangy sound you need for country. It's overdrive was pretty good for rock, but not for metal.

I would never bring it to a gig, since I always got ESPN on it. The amp has never broken down on me.

Gets radio signals (if you like playing guitar and listening to a football game at the same time, then you might like it.)
Overdrive is bad.
