Best bang for the buck in the Line 6 amps!!!

When it comes to modeling amps, there are lots out there, and Line 6 has pretty much been everyone's go-to for a long time. The built in effects give you a large range of generally very excellent sounding bases to work with (though often require a little bit of tweaking to get "your" sound). Unlike the previous Line 6's, this one isn't bogged down with tremenous amounts of "presets" to garble through; it's a straight shooter. You have a few banks of clean sounds with increasing gains and a few banks of dirty sound, with increasingly MONSTROUS gains, all of which (especially the dirty/lead sounds) are very versatile. While, I found the clean sounds to be a little on the quiet side and kind of sterile for a tube amp, it is definitely worthwhile and good enough for the cash! Now where this amp REALLY shines is the gain channels. It can do anything from Marshall JCM sounds to chrushing Mesa Mark/Recto sounds with VERY convincing results. Gobbs of bottom end, and fat toneful midrange with singing highs; and lets not forget that natural tube sound and articulation. This amp is a jack of all trades. The premium Celestion speaker REALLY makes it cook to boot...and loudly. Since the clean tones didn't stack up to the dirty tones, I would rate this amp a 4.5/5, but since the price is so amazing, I'm still gonna give this sucker 5 stars!

Its a Line 6...despite being a tube amp, its still primarily solid state circuitry with some tube powered guts. I would say its a very reliable unit. If you already own a super expensive rig, this is the most perfect backup amp EVER! I almost bought this instead of a Mesa!!

All in one amp.

I bought this amp for using as my clean channel. I tried spider 2 few years ago, but did not happy with the sound. When I heard that new model has tubes and they I turned back again. Big difference!! I love the Spider Valve. I have few clean like Fender, Vox (as per the manual.) I am happy with the clean sound.
Dirty channels they have are not bad, but I have my own triple rectifier for distortion already. Line 6 made a good job on copying mesa/boogie. But I feel like you listen the same song from cassette tape and digital CD.

Good for me. If my Boogie has problem I can use this amp instead.

All in one amp. If you dont have much buget. Line 6 is a good choice. Their sound is better you think, but must be with the tubes. Tuner + effects included.

Switching channel by hand on the amp make some noise. Hard to understand the functions in the beginning.
