It sounds like it's name!

I have this module in my Randall 50watt MTS head running 6L6 tubes. It sounds really like a good Blackface Fender. I go for this type sound as my personal favorite type of clean and this module delivers it well. Has that certain chime to it. Also very sweet with a little bit of sag to the notes. real nice.

Randall, from what I've heard, is very responsive. The Randall MTS Forum is also filled with knowledgeable musicians who are eager to help folks.

Everything. Just what I wanted and expected to hear. Easy to dial in. Also crunches really nice with the gain turned up.

no dislikes. Maybe would have liked a little more sag to the notes, but You can't get it exactly like a real Blackface, but it's as close as you can come in a modular type of amp.

the blackface is one of the most popular clean modules amongst the mts users. want kirk hammets clean tone from his earlier years, this is where you need to look. plenty of clips on youtube and the randall mts forum of people dialing in that famous clean tone
