Ultimate Flanger!

Ease Of Use As with all BOSS pedals, the controls are laid out in a logical manner. It's very easy to use out of the box by just piddling with the knobs. If you want to go beyond the typical flanging, you'll have to read the manual.

Sound I've tried this pedal with several amps, it it doesn't fail. You can go from jet airline flanging to lush chorusing with the twist of a few knobs. Want to go dropped D and "Unchained"--this baby can do it. You can use it as a chorus too fo a slightly thicker tone.

Reliability It's built "BOSS tough!" You could probably run this over with a tank and It'll keep on going.

Customer Support N/A

2. Lush chorus effect
3. Cool purple color
4. I like the stero out.

Boss BF-3 Flanger

Ease Of Use As all stomp boxes its easy to use, once you've sat down and twiddled the dials to your ideal setting thats it. Of course there's no memory settings on these boxes so its always a good idea to make a note for certain settings.

Sound Sound is great and the BF-3 version also has the Ultra setting to really get some deep 'aeroplane' flanging sounds which the original pedal doesnt have. But if your like me then I find the 'standard' option like the original sound deep enough. But if there's ever a need to really go over the top with bowowowow sound then the option is there. Other cool effects is the gate pain setting that gives a strobe sound effect (i.e. cuts on and off and rate depends on your setting choosing).

Reliability Very reliable, solid metal box had no issues with Boss pedals. If using batteries though always keep a 9v spare just in case.

Customer Support Not had to deal with them.

Liked about it 1) The sound it creates and how much you can tweak it.
2) Solid reliability
3) As daft as it sounds but this is my favorite looking pedal as its purple.

Didn't like There's nothing i dont like about it, I bought this pedal for a flanger effect and it does that no problem with lots of tweakability.
