Boss ML-2 Featured

With its extreme gain, the ML-2 is the most potent and heavy distortion pedal ever created by BOSS. It easily delivers massive distortion and gain with heavy lows for playing Nu Metal, Grind Core, Industrial, Hard Core, or any genre that requires crushing sound. The ML-2's ferocious and biting tone will complement and cut through any blast beats your rhythm section...

Boss metal core is currently waking up the neighbo featured

Ease Of Use So easy to use even an metal head can figure it out. Low, High,& Dist knob settings need only be at 75% and level adjusted to suit your volume needs and your good to go really.. Hey its a pedal with 4 knobs, if your having issues read the manual or quit playing the guitar :P

Sound Obviously the designers of this pedal created it for the new style of metal letting loose on the scene, making use of the lower range of the guitar spectrum, due to 7 and 8 string guitars and the dropped tunings. I plugged into my Mesa Nomad and cranked right up, I could sit in my room and just crunch on all day long. Think of the nicely mastered sound of Disturbed, I can pretty much nail it sound wise, and the soloing capabilities of this pedal is also not to shabby. You can get softer distortion for a more rock blues sound, but in all honesty it doesn't do that job fantasticly. But then its not why I bought it, so full on metal is its main feature and it delivers like Pizza Hut.

Reliability I bought it second hand, and it worked straight out of the box, never had an issue with it, and like all boss pedals, its built like a sumo wrestler.

Liked about it Does exactly what its name says it does, built to last, and looks the part for metal.

Didn't like Rolling back the settings can give you different distorted tones, but dont buy this if your a rock/blues player, its not the tone for you. Its kinda like a one hit wonder, but it does it well.

Only for Metal Fans? No!

Ease Of Use Boss single pedals are just the easiest pedals you can ever use. The battery changing is easy and fast, the knobs are smooth and not too small but not too big, and it stomps really easily (the foot switch is very feather touch!)
Also its a very light pedal. Easy to carry around and even though it is very light, it is very durable. The instruction manual that came with it is great, easy and short. It also gives great few examples to people who are new to pedals and doesn't know what to do with the knobs.

Sound I use a Ibanez Jem 7V WH, Fender vintage 60s, OLP John Petrucci, and Greco Les Paul. All the guitars except for the fender fits absolutely great with this pedal. The problem with fenders are that they are noisy!! Ugh the Single Coils!!!! Also I own a crappy amp (Marshall 10CD) and it still makes the amp sound greeaaattt. I'm fan of lot of metal bands and this pedal will help to have the distortion of modern metal bands. Nice head crunching disto!!!

Reliability This pedal is feather light but its amazingly durable. I droped this pedal many times and there are not even a single dent. The rubbers on the base and the foot switch area helps the pedal to be scrachless and its perfect. Easy to carry is awesome for pedals

Liked about it 1. Awsome crunchy Distortion
2. Durable and easy to carry around w/
3. Not just for metal guys but this distortion is good more rock. Its crunchy and Bright unlike the "Metal Zone" which are crunchy and dull which doesnt fit into any other music genre other than metal

Didn't like I have no problems with this pedal.
