Danelectro DC-1 Cool Cat Chorus Pedal
|
Once you hear this great vintage chorus, you'll realize nothing else even comes close. True stereo sound with second output jack. As rich, syrupy, and silky as it gets. Powered by 9V battery (included) or optional DA-1 power supply.

Simple chorus pedal with retro 50's looks and cool tones.
Ease Of Use
This very easy to use pedal only has two knobs: Speed and Chill. You can adjust these two knobs to dial in some rich, syrupy, and silky chorus effects. There are two outputs: mono out and a second for running in stereo. A durable round button style footswitch is easy to tap on and off. A nice and bright LED lets you know that it' turned on or off.

This pedal produces some of the creamiest and silkiest chorus I've ever heard. If running in stereo, you can get some great swirling. This baby puts out some of the deepest and thickest chorus I've ever heard.

Reliability
This not only looks good with that 50's vibe and vintage color, it is also built tough. Don't confuse this with those tiny plastic Danelectro mini-pedals that come from the deli--these larger vintage looking and sounding pedals are built to last.

Liked about it
The first thing that drew me to the Danelectro vintage line is the looks. I mean, take a look at it! These have a real 50's vibe with cool 50's Chevy colors. The top control area has that cream colored scoop that's reminiscent of a 53 Corvette's side scoop panels. The chrome V with the Danelectro "D" in the center reminds me of the grill logo on a 50's Cadillac. Once you get past the cool looks, the sound will keep you hooked. This one dials up vintage chorus sounds that's hard to pass up.

Didn't like
It's performs like a vintage chorus and has looks that kill. If I had to pick anything on the downside, it would be the narrow knobs. The chrome colored plastic knobs look right at home on this little beast, but feel a bit flimsy. Still--they are durable as long as you don't abuse them.
