Best bang for the buck device on the market featured

Ease Of Use This is a great pedal that can be used in so many ways.....so much more than a basic EQ. I've used mine in a number of different ways and it performed perfectly in all applications. It's dust protected well illuminated sliders are the pefectly selected frequencies for making changes to your guitar's signal. It works wonderfully in an effects loop of a tube amp to adjust your overall tone post preamp. This is it's most effective tone adjustment placement and will let you adjust your sound from mid hump classic rock tones to mid scooped death metal. It's also fantastic to use a lead boost here since it has a volume slider and foot switch for turning on and off. It can also be used as a volume cut the same way. It makes a great clean boost before the amp and has a "Gain" slider too which is something a lot of EQ pedals don't have. I use it this way most often with my Vintage Modern. I also like it after a distortion box to completely change the tone of the pedal from razor sharp to mid scooped grind (it really helps a nasty nasal toned MT2 sound better).

Sound Excellent with a ton of variety at you finger tips. The only thing that would limit you is your imagination.

Reliability Built like a tank. I have no fear of it ever breaking and would gig without a back up.

Customer Support I've never had to call MXR so I really can't answer this one.

Liked about it I love this pedal's adjustability, it's durability and the fact that it has volume AND gain sliders. I also like the slider LEDs, they look cool and make it really easy to see your settings on a dark stage.

Didn't like I'm not really crazy about the additional wall wart (18v unit) but I could get rid of that if I ever get a power supply for my board.

A must have featured

Ease Of Use An amazing EQ pedal, The manual comes with every piece of info you'll need to know about this pedal! It also has suggested settings that serves as a starting point for using this pedal! It might take a while to get used to since it has 10 tweakable frequencies: 12db of boost for each of its 10 frequencies it governs on top of the gain and volume controls! The sliders light up when its on and shut off when its bypassed! so you'll always know whether its on or off and know where your settings are at, How sweet is that!?

Sound AMAZING! I play it through a B-52 half stack along with my Twin Tube Mayhem Distortion pedal! I havent heard any distortion sound better than this! I play death metal and thrash, and WOW! The sound is gnarly, I feel like a professional is playing out of my guitar...but its only me! ;) thats how much improvement you get!
Pinch harmonics are 20x better sounding, Notes are better sounding! I didnt think I was able to get any more crunch from my half stack but boy was I wrong! I've played out of a mesa tri rect and side by side my stack sounds just as good maybe even better now, seriously! The 10 sliders give you excellent control over your sound, you can customize your sound to any desire! Rock, funk, blues, jazz...You name it!

Reliability Built like a tank, literally! Everything about it is very durable...Sliders are very tuff wouldnt budge if you dropped it, You can probably throw the pedal at someone and knock them out! You wouldnt need to worry about a backup if you perfrom with it, nothing would happen to this thing!!

Customer Support Never dealt with anyone from the company because I never had to, which means this product is solid!

Liked about it Everything about this is great! Great for any style clean or dirty, GET ONE! your sound will improve no matter if its classical, rock, punk or metal! has a 10 band EQ so your able to get the tones you want and sounds you thought were impossible to achieve! If your serious about your tone then GET ONE! Oh, it comes with a power supply, which is Greaat!

Didn't like There is not one flaw about this pedal, I cannot say anything bad! SO GET ONE

MXR 108 10 band eq featured

Ease Of Use I used to have a 7 band eq that broke so i purchased the mxr 10 band, and im glad i did. This small $120 unit turned both my laney GH50l and Carvin legacy into metal monsters. It completely transforms any amp. For me its a must as you can take away certain frequencies or add them when your EQ settings on the amp itself dont allow you.

Cool features-
The amp has both a volume slider on the left and a gain slider on the right, very useful, for one i use use those for bedroom playing at night, so i can get a more precise volume as the ones on my amps are to drastic.

The sliders have built in LED' for illumination which is VERY handing on a dark stage, they light up BRIGHT red and there very uniform as well.

All the lettering, logos numbers etc are glow in the dark as well, so just in case the sliders lighting arent enough theres glow in the dark letters.

Sound I run my MXR on all the time with my TS-9 and SD-1 as well as my Rocktron hush. It IS my tone, it helps me shape my tone in a way my amplifiers just couldn't do. So if your amp just has a hint of something you don't like and you want to remedy it, the 10 band is the way to go as was my case, i had this very annoying frequency i couldn't get rid of with my amp but the 10 band eliminated it.

Reliability Of course, this thing is built like a tank, very heavy and rugged.

Customer Support No i have not

Liked about it The led sliders, glow in the dark logos and numbers. Ease of use.

Didn't like I wish it wasn't 18v, as it requires me to run separate power to it rather then being able to use my power supply.

Great tool

Ease Of Use This pedal is very easy to use and is versatile too.I've used it in the effects loop of my amp for a lead boost and in front of my amp to give single coils a humbucker like sound. You can use the input gain slider to boost or cut gain also.

Sound I use the M-108 in front of my 5150 2x12 combo with my G&L Comanche to give the Comanche a more humbucker like sound or to give the amp a hotter signal going in.When its turned off it doesn't color my tone.

Reliability Its a very well built pedal that's very sturdy.I worry a little bit about the sliders though.

Customer Support I've never had to contact them.

Liked about it I like the sound and flexibility of the M-108.I like that the sliders light up when its on and,the input gain and output sliders stay lit when the pedal is turned off.

Didn't like THe sliders seem a little week to me,other than that there isn't anything I don't like about this pedal.
