Very nice fuzz!
| Ease Of Use |
Straightforward unit, volume, tone, sustain, with two mini toggles for tone (bypasses tone control-provides boost), and wicker (adds treble). The sustain changes fuzz flavor, the more sustain, the less attack.

I plug this in front of a Bogner Alchemist, using an Ibanez Proline 2550. Sounds awesome! Never been a huge fuzz fan, but it has it's applications. When I decided I wanted a fuzz box, I tried a few. As I went through different brands, I realized I wanted something that made my amp sound like it was exploding (hard to explain, think Hendrix). This does it better than all I tried, and for under $90.00! The tone has a wide range, but I use it just under 12:00. I run the sustain around 1:00. I've found if it goes higher, there's too little attack. When attempting Hendrix (Izabella), I engage the wicker switch. It adds a nice treble, and clarity when I am running univibe. The only downside is, it adds a good amount of white noise. Still looking for mods to correct. If you engage the tone knob, it is a huge boost. I never use it because it changes the character, and I'm not a fan of the tone. Some may like it, though.

I really like the tone, sounds like my amp is exploding. I like the addition of the wicker switch for treble. It's true bypass.

I wish they could have eliminated the white noise when the wicker is engaged. To me, that's the only negative.
