Electro-Harmonix Classics POG Polyphonic Octave Generator Guitar Effec...
Searched Electro-Harmonix Classics POG Polyphonic Octave Geator Guitar Effects Pedal in Reviews
Best octave pedal I have ever tried.
Ease Of Use
Just like most EH pedals, there is a learning curve involved. Basically you just need to spend some time with it just to see exactly what it does, and it does a lot. I would say about 30 minutes of experimentation is all you need. Plus, the note tracking is the best I have ever heard on an octave pedal.

Sound
This is one of the most usable pedals I have. A lot of pedals sound like an effect on top of my guitar signal. This sounds like the effect is part of my signal if that makes sense. You can get so many different sounds with this guy, even the coveted organ sound. You can play organ type licks on your guitar and it sounds pretty convincing. I mainly set it up to sound kinda like a twelve string. I use it with all sorts of guitar and all kinds of amps and it sounds great. I don't suggest using this with a high gain type of distortion, but with a clean or slightly overdriven amp, it is great. There is a little hiss if you your amp is overdriven, but it isn't too bad. I suggest you watch the video I have attached, as it goes over a bunch of cool sounds you can get.

Reliability
I never worry about my EH pedals at all. Never any problems and I would feel fine gigging without a backup.
