Get rid of noise...in style!

It has one knob. A monkey could use this thing! All you need is a keen ear for what you need to hear...You know what they say; You can never fool your ears!

This could be the best noise reduction pedal on the market, without moving up to an expensive rackmount unit for your ultra rack-o-doom. Its transparent. It doesn't kill tone or sustain. All you have to do is add it to your loop, and dial in the appropriate amount of noise reduction and BOOM! The noise is gone! There is no gates, so you don't get that ugly hiss (like older cheaper units when cranked up); it doesn't kill signal or chop off notes when playing fast or staccato, and there is no additional compression in the signal.
I've used this sucker to kill the "frying egg" sound from my high gain Mesa and ENGL amps in studio, to kill the hiss from a cheap frumpy wireless unit live, and cure a whooshy capacitor noise from an ancient vintage flanger. This sucker might be the end all cure all for your noise - in a shiny chrome package. Highly recommended. Much better than the Rocktron HUSH or the tone sucking BOSS NS-2.

Built to last. Simply put. ISP has done all their research on this product VERY well, and this pedal is worth the extra coin over cheaper noise reduction units, in both sound quality and stage/travel reliability.

The passing of the torch continues...
| Ease Of Use |
First let me give my $.02 on the history of certain stompboxes and the evolution of change. It's real simple: years ago there were junk pedals, okay pedals and good pedals. Over time, there has now become GREAT pedals. The Keeley compressor, the Suhr Riot, the MXR EVH Phaser and now this amazing little stomper called the Decimator G.
It's pretty freakin' easy... there's one knob. You can't beat that! It's what it does that is magical.

Personally, I have this in the loop of a G-System rig. It's everything I need and nothing I don't. Period. The sound is transparent, there is no cutting off notes during fast picking and even the dynamics of some legato that can get lost when a noise suppressor can kick in do not get squashed out. Also, keep in mind that I have two lead channels on my rig: One is called "instrumental lead" and the other is called "balls deep lead". On the former, I kick this on because there may be things I do that will need to be "cleaned up" just a tad. On the balls-deep, I turn the Decimator off because you are just getting assaulted by the outright tone of my amp.
But this works harmoniously with the other stompboxes in my rig, which coincidentally are the ones I mentioned before. I am picky, discriminating and downright brutally honest in my reviews of gear and this one gets 5 stars because of its sheer awesomeness. I know it seems silly to gloat over something as simple as a noise suppressor but this can be the difference between a "hobby" rig and a "professional" rig. It's that simple.

Never broke - then again, it doesn't move. It's on a pedal tray and it doesn't move.

I have never dealt with them except at the NAMM show and they seemed really cool. Talking to them influenced my decision to buy one of these some time ago.

Can't say a bad thing about it except that the price may deter some players from buying it. My recommendation is to spend the extra money and get it. You won't be sorry.
