THE best noise gate. Period

Ease Of Use Very straight forward and great support if you need help implementing it in your rig

Sound After the mod my rig was DEAD SILENT. I was blown away that there was no sign of ground hum.

Reliability Extremely reliable and as mentioned great support.

Customer Support Great support! Buck (the owner) gave me his cell number and told me to call him for any help needed to setup my rack. Now how many company owners do you know that give you their cell number and tell you to call on a weekend to work out your rig path. Phenomenal!

Liked about it I had to do an artifact mod on mine. This was found by a few players at the HRI forums. Buck gave his approval to do the mod and even sent me the parts to do it myself. All models after 11/08 now have this mod.

Didn't like stereo mod should be standard.

best noise gate around... period!

Ease Of Use It's idiot-proof: 2 threshold knobs, 1 filter tracking knobs, on/off switch, +4db/-10db level switch, bypass switch. Don't think you need a manual other than a diagram on how to connect it properly.

Sound Got the stereo mod version to connect it with a Meaa V-Twin pre and an ENGL 530 pre through a Mesa 2:90. Very very clean. It's a noise suppersor/gate: cleans out all the "noise" and silences the signal when you're not playing.

Reliability Solid unit that's road-worthy... as long it's mounted in a rack, it's safe.

Customer Support Very awesome support. I had purchased the Decimator Pro-Rack G from the 'bay but arrived without the power pedal. Tracking the serial number, i discovered the unit was an earlier version. I contacted ISP inquiring them about an upgrade through e-mail and got a response the next day. I mailed it out and upon receiving the unit, Buck gave me a call to verify the upgrade mod and informed me about their power pedal was out of stock. Luckily, I just received the wall wart from the seller I bought it from a day before. Regardless, he performed the upgrade and mailed it out the next day. Very friendly people!

Liked about it By far, the best noise gate. I've had most of the Hush's (the IICX being my favorite) but this thing is top-notch compared to those. Eliminates any noise: from ground issues to bad cables and anything else in the chain while making your hi-gain amp sound its cleanest, even with the gain maxed out! I like that the gate "senses" when you're playing clean or distorted - no more tweaking the knobs when changing channels!

Didn't like Didn't come with the Ground Lift switch. Wish it also had a bypass switch that's footswitchable... otherwise, not much else.
