Expensive, but well worth it!

Ease Of Use I don't think they could've made this thing easier to use. I have it setup like this Guitar>input1>output1>Amp>loop send>input2>output2>loop return. Start with the knobs at zero and bump them up until they get rid of the feedback and thats it.

Sound The sound is, well there is no sound. Absolutely no sound to be precise. It cuts out your signal out completely when your not playing and instantaneously bring it back full power when you play.

Reliability Built like a tank, I'd be hard pressed to find any other rack equipment built this sturdy. I have a few other rack components that are more than double the price of one of these and they aren't built nearly as solid.

Customer Support Haven't had to deal with them, I highly doubt I'll ever have to.

Liked about it Ease of use, Construction, Performance. Basically This thing is a home run, not a bad thing to say about it function-wise.

Didn't like High price tag, I believe I found mine for $409. It's worth it if your looking to build your rack of doom for sure.

The guitarists high standard NR

Ease Of Use Even though this unit has some rumored magical powers, it is still very easy to use and setup. Also quite easy to place in your rack and signal chain, simply follow the instructions in the manual.

Sound Now it is quite hard to find a real noise reduction as it is, as most so called products are simple noise gates and nowhere near a realtime processor. Hence most units will color your tone in some way or the other simply because the gate function is non-linear.
Now I have no idea how this unit does its signal processing (and I imagine there would be some Voodoo behind it), but it does not color my tone in any way.
I tried it in setups with both a Carvin V3 and a Mesa DualRec, with high output guitars (Jem, 1527, Iceman) and it worked very well.

Apart from the usual good reviews there are some out there that hate this unit. Let me tell you something on that front too. This unit is not really magic, it wont cut down severe noise that you introduced into your signal chain by simply making the wrong calls or using all the wrong components┬┤, without "cutting" down your tone and sustain. However it will never "color" your tone.
It may not be rocket science to add this thing and make it work without cutting down your tone, but keep in mind it wont make you sound any better than you do and it wont make a Mesa out of a 15 bucks trans-amp.

Reliability No problems so far.

Customer Support I called them up for this review and they are really nice and helped me out telling me some mistakes users usually make with this unit. Really cool people.

Liked about it + Works as designed
+ No tone coloring whatsoever
+ Really well built (Pro Quality)

Didn't like Not a real minus besides: Some people can even screw up with the most simple things...

best noise gate around... period!

Ease Of Use It's idiot-proof: 2 threshold knobs, 1 filter tracking knobs, on/off switch, +4db/-10db level switch, bypass switch. Don't think you need a manual other than a diagram on how to connect it properly.

Sound Got the stereo mod version to connect it with a Meaa V-Twin pre and an ENGL 530 pre through a Mesa 2:90. Very very clean. It's a noise suppersor/gate: cleans out all the "noise" and silences the signal when you're not playing.

Reliability Solid unit that's road-worthy... as long it's mounted in a rack, it's safe.

Customer Support Very awesome support. I had purchased the Decimator Pro-Rack G from the 'bay but arrived without the power pedal. Tracking the serial number, i discovered the unit was an earlier version. I contacted ISP inquiring them about an upgrade through e-mail and got a response the next day. I mailed it out and upon receiving the unit, Buck gave me a call to verify the upgrade mod and informed me about their power pedal was out of stock. Luckily, I just received the wall wart from the seller I bought it from a day before. Regardless, he performed the upgrade and mailed it out the next day. Very friendly people!

Liked about it By far, the best noise gate. I've had most of the Hush's (the IICX being my favorite) but this thing is top-notch compared to those. Eliminates any noise: from ground issues to bad cables and anything else in the chain while making your hi-gain amp sound its cleanest, even with the gain maxed out! I like that the gate "senses" when you're playing clean or distorted - no more tweaking the knobs when changing channels!

Didn't like Didn't come with the Ground Lift switch. Wish it also had a bypass switch that's footswitchable... otherwise, not much else.

THE best noise gate. Period

Ease Of Use Very straight forward and great support if you need help implementing it in your rig

Sound After the mod my rig was DEAD SILENT. I was blown away that there was no sign of ground hum.

Reliability Extremely reliable and as mentioned great support.

Customer Support Great support! Buck (the owner) gave me his cell number and told me to call him for any help needed to setup my rack. Now how many company owners do you know that give you their cell number and tell you to call on a weekend to work out your rig path. Phenomenal!

Liked about it I had to do an artifact mod on mine. This was found by a few players at the HRI forums. Buck gave his approval to do the mod and even sent me the parts to do it myself. All models after 11/08 now have this mod.

Didn't like stereo mod should be standard.
