Works perfectly! Uses "phantom power" to power your foot pedal. I use it to power my MIDI Mate from my VooDu Valve. I can't imagine having to use a power cable, huge hassle. It does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I have a back up in my rack drawer and the back up is brand new still in the package. That should tell you something about the reliability. I've stepped on it, rolled a heavy dolly over it, it seems quite reliable.

Worth it
| Ease Of Use |
Very simple idea - powwer a device from another device. I power my Rocktron midi exchange from my Intellifex. It does the job well

Midi cable, this is not relevant, but the cable does the job well

Never have an issue. I do keep a 9v battery just in case the cable went bad, but if the cable went bad I would probably not have midi signal either.
