So, how does this sound?...MEAN!!! Great, Agressive, High-Gain Tube Tone ! featured

Ease Of Use This pedal has a wide range of Frequencies. You have your volume control, a three band EQ which includes your: Bass, Mids and Treble and you have your Gain Control. It has either a 4dB or 8dB of boost pending on how much "Crunch" you want and has a switch to adjust your mid-frequencies from High to low.
It's pretty much a straight forward pedal and easy to use! If you are a little confused then take a look at the manual since it is very user friendly and explains everything very well! It also has a list of presets for the pedal which serves as a starting point and later can be re-arranged to your liking :) The knobs/Controls on the pedal are easy to move, big and spaced apart perfectly! When setting up your tone the controls next to you don't get in the way and wont ruin what you already had in place!

Sound I've listened to quite a bit of distortion pedals out there, maybe around 20 of them and this is the 'one tube pedal to rule them all' This Pedal is voiced for all things metal From classic metal to Death metal!(I personally think its great for that Old school death metal/thrash sound)
You can dial up any lush tube gain sound that you need no matter what amp your playing out of! You can get 3 different sounds from this pedal: When it's off you have a clean sound, ON you have your rhythm sound and you have a boost switch for your Solo sound! You can have either 4dB of boost or 8dB of boost which really amps up your solos! You can also adjust your mid-frequencies from low to high.
It has a fully encapsulated toroidal transformer for a very quiet no hum/buzz ideal for recording or playing live! It's a very versatile pedal and you can achieve pretty much any sound you want! Keep in mind to achieve great sounds you need a Solid guitar, Great pickups and a nice clean channel from either a great quality solid state or tube amp(preferably tube) after you have these bases covered Just plug in your guitar and find your perfect metal tone!

Reliability WoW, this thing is built to last! I feel like I can hammer in nails with it, Throw it at car windows to break into them, Knock out people with it who owe me money and after all this is done I can still take it home and rock out with it like nothing has ever happened! If this thing was any bigger you can probably use it as a bomb shelter :) Has a Great built! a duet of premium, military-spec, subminiature, USA-made Phillips-Sylvania 62051 pentode tubes! You will never have to replace them for the rest of your existing life(according to the manual)

Customer Support Never had to deal with anyone from the company-meaning I never had any problems with this, Its a solid product!

Liked about it What isnt there to like about this? Just look at it, right off the bat it looks like its ready to shred! the design is kool, it has like a Gothicish graphic on it! :) Its made from metal Chasis, how much more durable can a pedal be! and if your into Old school Death metal or Thrash, then you'll achieve those tones just perfectly! It also comes with its own power supply, no nickel and diming here!

Didn't like The Major flaw of this pedal is You cant have the boost switch on by itself! You have to have your gain switch on before using your boost! Also the distortion falls just a tad bit shy of Modern death metal, Doom metal and that overall insane distortion sound! but thats no biggie this is where an MXR 10 band EQ comes into play and boy does it do a goodjob at making it have that very heavy, low end CRUNCH sound; very BOOMY!
