Visual Sound 1 SPOT Combo Pack

Bigger is not always better. At a fraction of the cost, the 1 SPOT is more powerful than the PedalPower or DC Brick...and takes up NO space on your pedalboard! With the new 8-plug cable included in this Combo Pack, you can power up to 8 pedals. And ...

Great product! featured

Ease Of Use It is painless to wire up. Plug it into your power strip, plug in the 10-spot extension on to the end of the 1-SPOT's power lead, and wire up your pedal board. It couldn't be easier!

Sound Recently I created a custom pedal board using one of the Rondo pedal cases. In it I have a good quality power strip, my Boss GT-10, Boss GE-7 EQ, Vox Satchurator distortion, and Ibanez Jemini Distortion.

The GT-10 has its own plug, and the three pedals needed 9v power. The 1-SPOT combo pack was the easiest way to route power to the three pedals. (I have 7 connectors left-over which I've just wire tied together into a bundle and stuffed to one side.)

I've seen a couple people complain about hum, but I've experienced absolutely no hum at all. Perhaps it is the fact that the pedals are nowhere near the actual AC adapter -- they're at opposite ends of the pedal board with the GT-10 between them.

I've been very happy with the setup.

Reliability The design of the AC adapter is very narrow and extends off to the side instead of covering several plugs, so it literally only takes one-spot on the power strip. I'd really love to see more AC adapter manufacturers adopt this sort of design as I get VERY tired of being able to use only two or three spots on a 6-spot power strip due to bulky AC adapter blocks.

Customer Support No issues yet.

Liked about it 1. The physical design that only takes one-spot on the power strip.
2. The length of the 10-connector cable had plenty of slack -- I had no issues routing it through my wide pedal board.
3. No hum.

Didn't like I'd like the combo back to allow disconnecting the extra 9V feeds that you're not going to need.
