When these pickups first came out I bought a set because I had to know. I was impressed. These pickups have tons of output (470 mV) and a slightly-treble-pushed EQ curve. You might think that this would make the bridge pickup too brittle but it hangs on extremely well all the way up the neck. Cuts through the mix and pushes mid-gain amps into overdrive easily. Has sharp pick attack as you'd expect from active pickups and great overall sound. You get all this without having to replace all your pots and input jack.
