Dimarzio DP380 Air Norton T
|
The Air Norton T is the Tele bridge replacement version of the full-size Air Norton. It's warm sounding, very well balanced, and has the same unique tonal characteristics as the original. Fatter and louder than a vintage humbucker but not as overwhelming as a metal pickup, it's a great way for Tele players to make their guitars rock-friendly.

A bunch of crunch to beef up your Telecaster guitar.

I stumbled upon this pickup a couple of years ago when I was looking for a replacement bridge pickup for a Squier Telecaster. I couldn't believe the tone that came out of that guitar after installing the pickup. It wasn't over-the-top with distortion, but had a nice strong crunch and sweet EQ. I couldn't get this pickup to sound bad and it is now my go-to Telecaster bridge pickup. It preserves some of the natural twang of the Tele, but fattens it up just enough that it's not too jangly.
