I only own one seven string guitar, so I decided I wanted it to sound as good as possible. After a bunch of research I decided on this pickup. On paper it looks like an interesting pickup with a mid-scooped EQ and output just above that of classic PAF pickups. As a drop-in replacement, this pickup really opens up the sound of the neck position of my seven-string and took a lot of the mud and bass out of the sound. The tones are now clear and distinct and even have a bit of character. I wish they made this pickup in a 6-string version.

Liked about it	Drop-in seven string replacement. Removes the muddiness found in some non-EMG 7-string neck pickups. Sweet tones clean or distorted.
Didn't like	Not available in some of the more neon colors.
