Roland GR-20 Midi controller for guitar
| Comments |
It is a great idea that you could play a synth with your guitar (specially when you prefer playing guitar more than keyboards). The Roland GR-20 is a Midi Controller for guitar with 469 presets and 99 user presets all in a little floor controller, You can divede you gtr in 6 channels (one per string) and keep, for example, a pad sounding (hold) and playing a melody with other strings. It has and excellent Sitar sound, rythm loops.
You can control the attack, hold release and some fx. It includes a GK-3 Midi pickup. It has the "Sound off" Midi function for working with external Midi devices or a DAW.

It is hard to set up the GK3 pickup to the guitar, in some presets when playing fast some notes don't sound, hard to find the bank names for DAW
