Best sounding Tele Neck pickup HANDS DOWN

Comments As noted in the title, this is the best sounding Tele neck pickup I've ever heard. The tones that come out of this pickup are warm, glassy, chimey, and just ooze the blues. I have this pickup in the neck position of every Tele I own (3).

Liked about it Top 3 things... tone, tone, and tone. I can't say enough about the tubular, glassy tone that exudes from this pickup. I didn't think there would be that much difference from the stock pickup, but DiMarzio REALLY nailed this pickup. The EQ curve and output are perfectly tailored to adapt to any amp--I've played my Tele-s through everything from headphone amps (Line 6 Pocket Pod, Korg Pandora PX4, ROCKMAN) to a Marshall 1974X (pure bliss) to Fender DeVille 4x10 (crisp, clean, and glassy) to high-gain Marshall and Hughes & Kettner half-stacks. This pickup makes your Tele come alive.

Didn't like The ONLY thing I could wish for in this pickup is that it could be less expensive, but even at the $55 street price, it's worth every penny. I wish they made it for strats...

"THE" Telecaster Pickup

Comments I recently installed this into a friends telecaster. I've never been much of a fan of telecasters until I heard this little jem. DiMarzio used the same technology that goes in their Area '58 and '61 (DiMarzio's vintage single coil pickups) to make this one, the Area T. It produces a very smooth, warm and chimey sound. This pickup exudes tone. If you're looking for a pickup to redefine your telecaster, this is the one to get. I actually wouldn't be opposed to putting it in a strat. I'm considering putting it in an old RG560 I've got.

Liked about it Lots of tone, warmth and clarity. Even with distortion this pickup has the ability to remain clear and warm.

Didn't like The price is on the higher end at $70, but well worth the money if you can afford it.
