So I came across a posting on Craigslist labeled "Ibanez RG7321+2x12 Line 6 Amp" for $500. My curious self opened the post to look at the RG. To my surprise the 2 low quality pics he posted, was not a RG7321, but a 7420. I emailed him asking him for extra pics, and he sent about 5 more low quality pics of the same guitar! It was indeed a RG7420, that looked dead mint in the photo's. I asked him if he would take $150 for the guitar only, he said $215, but I managed to get it for $200. The guitar looked like it never got played. The neck was dry, and dirty, the frets were tarnished, and rusted. The tremolo was seated kinda high, but had no paint wear on it, or scratches. The guitar is literally like new, there are only 3 small paint chippings on the side of the guitar, but no scratches on the body at all. There's not even buckle rash on the back, or any dings on the headstock. I was astonished at the condition, I was anticipating a beat up, scratched to hell 7420, but to my surprise, it looked better than most used guitar I have seen.

It is a 1999 Black Pearl (Metallic black) Ibanez RG7420. I'm not big on the Lo-TRS, but it'll do till I can grab a RG7620. I am looking for a set of Dimarzio pickups for it, I want a D-Sonic, and a Liqufire, so if someone is selling any of those 2 pickups, or any other pickups, shoot me a private message as well.

Could anyone tell me what the value of this guitar is worth in the condition it is in. Thanks a lot.

Pictures are gonna have to be cut down into replies, since I am limited to 7 images a post.

Maybe about 2 hours after I got the guitar.

Guitars headstock is in great condition too. Absolutely no dings on the tip, or anywhere.

(Sorry for the blurry photo, better ones to come) The locking nut is in great condition, there is no rust, or much paint fading. Looks great.

I tried showing you the best I can the tarnish, rust, and grim on the frets. It was pretty bad, but I got it all cleaned and polished out.

Guitar body at a nice little angle.

Guitars neck needs some truss rod tweaking. I'll have to do that after intonation, and stuff : /

Guitar at another nice angle. Lol
