I'm looking for a stock 1987 White RG550. The neck has to be clean and straight. Body can be beat to hell and dinged/dented/chipped. An OHSC would be nice but not mandatory. Original wiring and pickups please. I live in Hong Kong but I fly back to the States once per year and I need a guitar to practice when I am visiting the parents. Shipment will be to Chicago. Its going to sit in its case 51 weeks/year but it will eventually join my small four-guitar army. Thanks, Rich.

I had this guitar up for sale a long time ago but decided not to sell it. This started as a stock black Jem555. I had it stripped down and painted eggshell flat black with matching headstock. The headstock had a chrome decal with the "JEM" logo. The guitar comes with the string tree, locking nuts, tools etc.. all shown in pics. The guitar has no guts right now being sold as is. I have the original Evo's from this guitar but they are in rough shape but will include them if requested. Guitar is in mint condition, no dents, no dings or scratches. The guitar practically looks new just needs to be finished. Would make a killer shred/metal guitar. Another thing.. on the back of the headstock it is stamped with a "S", came like that from factory, I duno what it means. Maybe someone can fill me in. Guitar comes shipped inside a brand new M100 ibanez hadshell case. PM or email any ?'s to damienthorn13@hotmail.com $300 Shipped.

1995 Ibanez S470FMTT - Flamed Maple Top, Transparent Turquoise

FOR SALE ONLY: This is a near-mint Korean-made 1995 Ibanez S470 (please no trades). The color is called "Transparent Turquoise" but it appears to be more green than turquoise in person. Regardless, it has a beautiful finish and the character of the tiger stripe maple is difficult to capture in the pictures, it's much more striking in person. This guitar is extremely reliable, very stable, the Lo-TRS II is in excellent operational condition, the neck is smooth, thin and fast, and it looks as good as it plays. Very well-kept, I'm the second owner.

Asking: $315 + shipping/insurance (TBD based on buyer location)
Guitar location: Orlando, FL

Includes Ibanez gig bag. Gig bag shows wear on Ibanez logo but is otherwise in perfect order. Thick padding, single front pouch for storage with working zipper, briefcase-style handle and adjustable backpack strap (see first pic).

Mahogany body (Flamed Maple Top), Wizard II, 22-fret, comfortable low action

Abalone oval inlays

Features upgraded bridge pickup. Seymour Duncan high-output, I'm not sure which model SD as it was in the guitar when I purchased it. This hotter pickup is very versatile and does excellently in this instrument. The neck (AH1) and middle (AS1) pickups are the original-equipped Ibanez. Volume/tone pot, 5-way selector switch work perfectly.

No cracks whatsoever. The neck heel and locking nut allens are not cracked in any way (see pics).

Gold hardware is near-mint. The tuning keys, volume/tone knobs, tremolo bar, and pickup rings have normal playing wear but it is minimal. The Lo-TRS II is in perfect shape with no pitting or damage to the finish whatsoever.

Two minor blemishes, shown in the last two pictures. One is a small crease that appears to be under the clear coat as it can't be felt if you run your finger over it. On the rear of the guitar there are three (3) small chips out of the clear coat just below the open cavity cover but the paint/color is not damaged. The headstock has some wear apparent on Ibanez headstock logo.

I have an ibanez rg 550 in road flare red that i'd like to sell or trade. It is in EXCELLENT shape for its age. the serial starts with a 7 which i belive makes it an 87 model , it has the old original square neck joint (the one that is sculpted a little not totally square).
Fret life is very good - not verified, but looks to have been recently leveled & crowned. Little to no wear since - no flat spots, divots. Neck has some wear & tear, gloss is mostly dulled, wear through around 8th fret. No dings in the headstock.

Body is refinished & looks new - no dings, scratches.

Everything else is original - pickups F2, C1, F4; Lo-Pro Edge. Bar is new Ibanez & black, not cosmo black.

Ibanez case included. Case looks really new - not sure if its original - but its a nice case.

Hello! I have a few items that I'm selling to fund the purchace of a Parker Fly Mojo guitar.
Pictures are avaliable on request....

1) Parker Nitefly M - I brought this guitar 2nd hand 3 years ago from a chap who didn't play it very much. I have gigged it a few times and it has a few 'dings' and marks, however, the instrument is solid. It has an awesome tone, feel, the build construction is excellent and everything works just as it should. I'm looking to get 525 pounds for this guitar.

2) Yamaha RBX 374 bass guitar in red. This is a solid bass guitar, although its been used its in good condition and is an excellent bass for someone who wants a back up or perhaps an upgrade. I want 90 pounds for this bass.

3) Yamaha Pacifica 311MS. This guitar is in excellent condition and is fairly rare. Its a blonde 'super tele'. Maple neck and finger board, Ash (I think!) body and in excellent overal cosmetic condition. This guitar has a Gibson 57 PAF installed in the neck position and I have changed the string tree to a graphite one. I want to get 230 for this guitar.

I based in Exeter, in Devon. You can contact me through here, or e mail me on c.elphick@ex.ac.uk. The cab can't really be shipped, but I'm sure we can figure something out for the other items. I will not be using paypal for these transactions as my account is having some problems at the moment. But I can provide e bay references if needed.

I'm also selling my Mesa Boogie F-50. Never gigged and still has the warranty tag on it. There are a couple of white paint scuffs from moving it around my apartment but I can probably get those cleaned up. Includes foot-switch. Asking $600.00 plus shipping, which I'm guessing will be between $60.00 and $90.00.

Here is a project I was doing that unfortunately resulted in a body that was sanded too much in the neck pocket, meaning I have to sell it for quite cheap now.

It is an Ibanez SA160QM, everything is stock except the guitar has a Dimarzio Tonezone in the bridge, Fender USA singlecoil in the middle and Dimarzio YJM in the neck. Also has pearl knobs. The neck pocket still fits, and everything works, theres just a slight gap in the top part of the pocket. I have filled it with wood filler, so now it works as it should, but looks somewhat ugly close up, from a distance it is barely noticable. Either way, This guitar is being sold AS IS.

I am looking for $175 US, or like $125 US without the pickups (both AFTER paypal fees). Give me an offer, Im also looking for a Carvin neck (guitar or bass), a White pearl H-S-S or H-x-S pickguard.. um I think thats it for parts. a Carvin bass in general would be great.

Hello all. This is probably the wrong forum, but here goes...

I bought this body and neck on **** a couple of years ago as a project, but I never got around to completing it. To be honest, I don't know if these are aftermarket parts, or a converted Ibanez RG. As you can see this is a basswood body finished in Loch Ness Green, accompanied by a nice maple neck with a Loch Ness Green headstock. The body has the "All Access Neck Joint", which is really comfortable. The neck has the cool "disappearing pyramid" inlays. I thought the neck would be super-thin and super-flat, but it seems nice and comfortable...sort of like an American Standard Strat. This auction includes the body, neck, neck screws and ferrules, locking nut, and a set of tuners that are supposed to be from a Jem. (I do want to point out that the tuners have two alignment points sticking up, while the back of the headstock is only drilled for one. I'm not sure which is "correct".)

All you need to complete a KILLER Jem is the pickguard, tremolo, and electronics. I've seen Loch Ness Green Jems sell for over $2000 on ****, so here's a chance for you to save HUNDREDS, if not THOUSANDS of dollars. I'm asking $350, plus shipping and Paypal. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks,

It saddens my heart to let these go but go they must. I am selling my RG20th RFR and my RG20062 TRF Puzzle Top. I don't use paypal so if that is an issue, move along.

First off is my beloved RG20062TRF Puzzle Top. This guitar was bought to be played and has been and does show some wear but it has still been taken care of and not abused. The top shows some pic marks and there are a few small dents marks here and there on the edges and some buckle rash on the back, I tried to show these the very best I could. In person this guitar is beautiful and these wear marks and signs of use DO NOT take away from the beauty of this guitar. There is a bit of corrosion on the Edge Pro trem (on parts that are easily replaceable) but everything on this guitar functions as it should. I will leave the Dunlop strap locks on it so a bonus for the next player but otherwise it is unmodded. Comes with the original case, trem bar and original hang tags in the original J Craft pouch. $1100 plus $35 shipping in the lower 48, payment by postal money order.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...11-4-09055.jpg

RG550mxx 20th Anniversary in RFR. This is a VERY cool axe that I have taken the time to upgrade and mod a little bit. It is a player and NOT a collector guitar but it HAS NOT BEEN ABUSED. I added an Evo II in the bridge and a Mo Joe in the neck with a green cover for the stock mid single, real flourescent green knobs and Dunlop strap locks. Everything that came with the guitar is also included: original RG20th case, trem bar, tools, J Craft pouch w/ hangtags, original RG20th strap, manual, key for case, Rg20th picks, RG20th back trem plate and the original pickups. This guitar is in great condition and ready to play. There are some minor marks and some very small chips that I covered with fingernail polish (see pics). This guitar is a stunner and is ready to be played and loved by the next owner. $850 plus $35 shipping in the lower 48. US postal money order only.
I have been on Jemsite for many years and have many references here as well as a 100% feedback member of e Bay under the same screen name I have here. No tire kickers and the prices are firm. I am moving and need to get cash together so these need to go to a new home as much as I am pained to sell them. Contact me here (PMs preferably).

Ok Kids, yet another monthly gear sell/trade off due to myself being a gear whore. As for what i'm looking for: High End Amps and guitars (6, 7, or 8 strings)

Will definitely consider these brands: Elmwood (Modena), VHT, Fractal audio (axe fx) Vigier, Suhr, Tom Anderson, Ibanez, + many more, feel free to offer.

Will not consider: Schecter, LTD, Telecasters, Epiphone, cheap ibanez, basically anything i find used for under $700 at any music store.

Here's what i have to offer
Guitars

1998 Ibanez JPM 90th Anniversary (rare only 450 made). Mint condition minus a couple nicks on the body.

1989 Ibanez Jem77FP : Decent condition, a few nicks in the paint, and one section on the bottom where the previous owner bumped the guitar pretty hard into something (cracked the finish pretty good and removed some of it). I am most likely going to have this repaired. These issues are only aesthetics. Plays great, sounds great, frets and electronics in great shape. Slight corrosion on the edge tremolo, but expected for its age.

1990 Ibanez RG770 (Pink with rosewood fretboard + edge tremolo). All original, immaculate condition. Looks like it was kept in its case since the day it was bought. Picked this on up from THEE Hammer (gave me a good deal on this and an Amp +he could use the cash, thanks man!).

Ernie Ball Musicman JP6 Petrucci (Mystic Dream) 2004 non-piezo model. Pretty decent shape, a few nicks and scratches here and there, nothing major. Plays great, frets and everything else in good condition

Flaxwood Aija: Mint Condition (PENDING TRADE, but feel free to make offers)

2001 Gibson Les Paul (Teal "Flip-flop" finish). Picked this one up used for dirt cheap from a music store which in know the owners/workers very well. Plays great, sounds great. Some nicks and paint chips on the head stock and body (was most likely a "player" for the guy who traded it in) but is still an awesome guitar regardless.

Amps:

Mesa 2:90 poweramp. Great shape, recently retubed/serviced.

Rocktron Prophesy: Comes with all my presets (tones ranging from Rusty Cooley, Petrucci, Dio, Malmsteen, Alice in Chains, and so much more) Great condition. Never had any problems with this.

Randall V2 Ninja: Mint condition. Looks barely used. Picked this one up from THEE Hammer in the amazing deal he offered me (since he's such a great guy ).

Cabs

VHT Fatbottom 2x12 : Decent shape, tolex has a few scuffs, but no tears (reluctant to sell this) Have to get a cab in a trade offer, or enough money to buy another one for me to consider parting with this baby (best cab on the market).

Hi All, Edit- I'm thinking of dropping it to $750+shipping!

I'm thinking of selling my Mesa Boogie Single Rectifer Solo 50 in search of a Mesa Boogie Mark III head. This is the FIRST SERIES as this does *not* have the Bias switch on the back of the amp. This amp screams--fat well rounded clean channel and big thick distortion channel with two different modes for each. The Clean channel has a toggle for "clean" and "pushed" modes while the distortion channel has a "modern" and "vintage" toggle to achieve two different types of distortion. I've always used the "clean"on the clean channel to play alot of jazz tones since its big and fat and doesn't break up like the vintage channel. On the distortion channel I've always loved using the "vintage" mode..paired up with a nice cabinet loaded with V30s. You get a really nice thick and warm tone thats excellent for leads..and if you have a set of Dimarzios or good set of Duncans--this would be your setting with scooping your mids a bit to get that creamy distortion. I love the amp, but its the only thing I have to sell to purchase more gear. I'm the original owner--bought brand new in 2000, still have warranty/manual still in the mesa envelope packet. During a move I may have lost the footswitch but I'm still looking for it. Amp is in great condition with some wear to the handle area.no biggie. It had a brand new pair of 6L6s put in last year. I'm thinking of moving it for $800--and I may pay the shipping! Any interest, please let me know. This amp is LOUD and very rarely have I ever moved the master past 4...with the main output level just over half. This amp crushes.

PM me for any interest. Thanks!
I comes with an Ibanez hardcase.
I was thinking about 1450 euro, but bids are welcome.
I live in Belgium, so it's probably best to only ship to Europe, especially since 1450 euro is more than 2000 dollars at the instant.
I'm also interested in a trade for another guitar, but prefer money :).
Thank you!

Nothing wrong with her, I've just found a new guitar that likes me better :D so this one's gotta go. I'm a student, I can only afford one guitar at a time.

Here's what she was originally:
1985 MIJ Fender Contemporary Standard 22 Stratocaster (Google for ridiculously in-depth info). 22 medium jumbo frets on a 12" radius, rosewood board on a maple neck, alder body. S/S/S pickup configuration. 3-tone sunburst paint, parchment hardware and a tortoise shell pickguard. Body is INCREDIBLY lightweight and resonant, easily the most resonant strat body I've played. And I've played a lot. Straight neck with perfectly fine truss rod. Frets have PLENTY of life in them, and are VERY comfortable. Could use a dressing at the first few frets, otherwise awesome. JUST strung her up and did a set-up with a set of DR Pure Blues, 9-42, but then again I like my action high. Either way, you'll want to set her up.

The body has her fair share of dings/dents, she's been played for a 25-year-old guitar. But she's still in perfect condition, and imho the body weight as a pro far outweighs (no pun intended) the dinged-up body. Nothing major, just mainly scratches and the occasional ding. No NJFCs.

What I've changed/added:
-These guitars originally came with a Schaller double-locking system (re: Floyd Rose), on this particular guitar it was called the System 1. I have removed the bridge and the locking nut, and have added Sperzel locking tuners and a Fender American deluxe bridge.
-I ripped the original wiring and pickguard out, threw in a tortoise shell guard, and added a Fender Hot Noiseless set.
*NOTE: These changes did involve drilling and wood filler, as well as some sawing to get the guitar to accomodate the bridge and the bridge pickup. Neither are noticeable, as they are covered up by the pickguard. Tuner holes and locking nut holes were filled with wood filler, noticeable but in no way detrimental.

Fine Print:
I have the original locking nut (sans pads, which are inexpensive), as well as the original bridge (missing the arm and ONE fine tuner, once again very inexpensive), and the original pickguard/pickups/wiring circuit. Also have the Fender Made In Japan tuners. I can include these upon request, and probably at an extra charge.
Comes with a Gibson USA gig bag.

PAYPAL ONLY. At the moment, Con US only. I may ship internationally, but be prepared to pay for customs/fees, etc.

Asking $850 OBO + shipping, am open to offers and/or trades.

Look up my e bay feedback, desh62791. I've only started buying/selling on the bay recently, hence the low count, but it's all positive, and I've bought/sold guitars online before.

Pictures will be posted within 24 hours. Please don't hesitate to contact me, PM or forum e-mail link

Looking for a little help assitance and info, and hopefully someone here (prefered) may get what they are after...

I have an original Ibanez BackStop as used by many artists inc I dare say the man hmself Vai...

I purchased this a few years back and never got round to fit or try this, as I didn't wish to damage something that wasn't broken...

As I am sure you all know how rare these are and please feel free to asy if the asking price, is either to high or about right...

The Ibanez BackStop itself is in mint as never used, this didn't come with any screws, however I believe these are easily obtained... (within reason and size, prob around 7-8mm length)

Below are some pics, please feel free to get in contact for any questions wishing answered...

For sale is a like-new ProTone Pedals Jason Becker Distortion pedal with original box. I am selling this because I just bought a Boogie Mark III and I don't really have a use for this pedal anymore. This pedal sounds great! If you want an old school Marshall sound in a pedal, this is it. Easy to recreate Jason's legendary tones and customize your own. This is a very versatile pedal that can go from warm blues bluesy tones to full out shred and with a clean boost, it allows you to pop out in the mix or boost your already driven tube amp into hyperdrive.

When I bought this pedal from Dennis @ ProTone, he gave me a bit of a deal because the paint job didn't come out exactly how he wanted, but it still looks and plays beautifully.

$200
Please pm if you are interested. Thanks.

Original 1991 Ibanez PGM100. She's been played and that is evident in the wear it has, but the guitar still plays and sounds fantastic. All the hardware is in great condition.

The neck plate has the typical weird cracking on it that I've seen on many other originals, it still works completely fine and you can read the text still, but I figured it was worth mentioning A previous owner also took a sticker off the back of the body with a brillo pad  and it dulled the finish as you can see I was told by a luthier that you should just be able to sand it lightly and then buff it out and it'd look good as new. Otherwise, the face of the guitar is super clean and vibrant, which is what everyone sees anyway.

Modifications:

The PAF Pros have been swapped out for newer ones as the previous ones went microphonic. It was also sent to me without the truss rod cover and trem cavity cover.

Accessories:

Dickies gigbag included, as well as the trem bar.

Mainly looking for a Mesa Recto of some sort or a Mark III; also very interested in a Titan Custom, Engl Fireball, 5150 + Cash, or VHT Deliverance. Will consider just about anything though. Can add some cash or trades if its really worth it.

Hi, Folks! Just registered here in search for an Ibanez S1520, as I've been told that this messageboard is my best bet to find one. I believe these guitars were made from 1998 to 2002.

I had a S1520BP several years ago and as time has gone by I've really grown to regret selling it. I realize it's not a super-high-end guitar, but I think the S1520 was very underrated...it had fantastic playability...great tone with a pickup swap (IMO)...and besides, I have an emotional attachment with the axe.

I prefer the all-mahogany body in Black Pearl to the Bubinga top versions, but I'd be interested in either, or even the other higher end versions of the design (S1620, S1670, S2020, etc.). The guitar body doesn't have to be in mint condition at all, but I am looking for very minimal fretwear.

My address (USA zipcode: 09012) is on a US Air Force base here in Germany (Ramstein AFB), so it's key that someone would be willing to ship here via USPS Priority Mail fully insured with Delivery Confirmation. Since this is an APO address, shipping here is the same cost as shipping within the CONUS. A customs form is required on the box, but there are no customs fees, etc. as the package never leaves US hands or arrives at a non-US post office. It just gets flown in straight to our Air Force base. I will want to pay via Paypal. My Paypal address is a confirmed USA address and it's a USA Paypal account, so US sellers wont be getting hit with the international fees.

References are typically a seller's domain, but since I'm brand-new here, I just want to mention that I've had many sales & purchases under the same username on The Gear Page and under the user ID "ngoodier" on ****.

Thanks!
-Nick

I'm looking for $699 or B.O. shipped to the CONUS. I hate Paypal, and will never use them, but a USPS money order will work fine. I have a ton of good references here and at Harmony Central, as well as other forums. PM me for my phone number and I'll be happy to speak to anyone who's interested in it personally.

This one's in really great shape.....no dings or cracks at all. This has been modded to an H/S/S configuration. I don't know what the pups are, but they sound really great. The way this guitar's setup, it's super versatile.......alot of different tones from this one. I'm looking for $650 or B.O. shipped and insured to the CONUS. I hate Paypal and refuse to use them. A USPS money order always works though. Check out my i Trader profile. I have a ton of good references here and on Harmony Central....and elsewhere. Also, PM me for my number and I'll be happy to speak to anyone who's interested directly.
It also has a minor finish crack on the bass side of the necpocket. Stictly in the finish.....you can't feel it if you run your finger over it. Were it not for this and the bit of oxidation I'd have no problen listing this in 10.0 of 10.0 condition.
