if there are enough interested parties (we don't need that many for this one), why not just do it now?

once there is a final date there should be no problems

The "Jem sized gift certificate" sounds like a great idea to me. Will avoid countless posts discussing the merits of one guitar or combination of prizes over another.

i haven't given this much thought up to now, but you guys need to decide a PRIZE preferably and at least credit to a specific store.

Prize = Jem 7vwh from Ibanez Rules
Prize is transferrable for item of equal or lesser value.
We just have to decide where the additional $$ money goes if a lower value is taken.

Does that make anyone happy?

I'd go with that. Just one thing, as it's a $100 entry, any objections for international shipping to be included if the overall cost of the prize + shipping falls within our budget?
For example, if I was lucky enough to win, I'd be more than happy to settle for something on the lines of a JS1000CA from Rich if shipping was included.

Any thoughts?
