$100 Contest. Are you in?

I'd had this idea and started it on the other thread...this isn't for discussion, just to find out if we have 20-25 people who would be willing to enter a $100 contest.

So far TabsJunky, Nightfiend, dv8rulz and GiS have said they'd do it.

if we can get about 20 more people, I wouldn't mind doing it again....but this time we won't start it up until we know we have enough people.

Sorry i didn't read back further than 4 posts...and i had all that time waiting for the numbers to come up this afternoon!

i think more realistically it'll be 25 people @ $100 each.

We're up to 7 so far. better than 1/4 of the way there.

perhaps the 'entry fee' could be paid directly to Mr. Harris?

Anyway, nothing will happen until we have 25 interested parties.

For a new guitar, I would rather wait until the end of the year (Novemberish) and have another $30 "contest".

The only way I'd be in for a $100 "contest" would be if it was for something like a LNG, DSY, SK, GMC, or PMC. --Jason

I'd do it once.

Why not just a cash prize or gift certificate from one of the sponsors? Let the winner decide what gear he wants to buy? That opens the winner to a bunch of possibilities, from buying a new RG20062 or a "used" Jem777SK. Just an idea that might attract the other 17 people to get this kicked off.


Bottom line is I'd enter the contest at $100 - yes, count me in.

I'd also be willing to be treasurer, but only of course if I can be a participant as well.
