AOL email users please read & verify your email account

AOL EMAIL USERS NOTICE:

I've noticed an increase of "unsent/returned" email to members using AOL email addresses. Those using AOL for email should take a minute to verify that your AOL account is not errantly blocking emails from Jemsite.

The Forum protects it's members 100% from spam and viruses and your email addy is NEVER visible to outsiders. Even if you have disabled Email receipt (as i have - no EMAIL button on my profile or posts) you NEED A WORKING EMAIL ADDY for PM notifications, post/topic notifications as well as to change your password and for other account purposes.

Here is what AOLers should do...
* Go to their Mail Controls
* Go to the General Controls
* Choose "Customize Mail Controls for Screen Name"
* see if a "@jemsite..." address is on the "blocked" list and if it is, click "Remove".

Apparently it's really easy to mistakenly add an address to the "blocked" list on AOL (and probably other mass-mail systems like Yahoo, Hotmail, etc).

Please note that your account will be disabled if a rash of emails are being returned for this or similar reasons. You need an active, working email account to be a member and participate on the forum! Thanks.... glen
