I'm sure i'm not the only one noticing a few Conversations and departures from the idea that it's to buy and sell, Not to comment on "your Guitar is way overpriced" , Bottom line, Your not interested or it's too much, then don't post or at least have the courtesy to take it Private Via E-mail or PM.

I use the Classifieds alot, To buy/Sell/Trade and i rarely look through due to constant rule abuse, It's not worth wading through all the toss to find out Exactly whats being sold, I'm sure many have similar feelings.

Another point, If a thread is Over a year old i think it's safe to assume it's sold or no longer available, If we can all be sensible i'm sure it'll clean up the current state of our classifieds, At least i hope it does before it's out of control and we lose it alltogether.

Feel free to bash me for taking it upon myself to remind a few of you to re-read the FAQ Privately or publically, I'm not at all bothered about defending something i believe needs cleaning up.

I'm not sure how many of you have dealt with new members/members only here to sell items with only one or two posts, but I would like to see something where only members who have been here for at least a little while can buy/sell/trade. It would be just another cushion of protection.

I see a LOT of ads here where a user registers just to sell his guitar, and never returns to close the thread. So we've got an assload of open threads for crap that we don't know anything about, or if the item has been bought/sold.

Knightmeir, As is the case with Jackson/Charvel Forum, A certain amount of posts need to be sorted beofre you can view/post in the classifieds, My only concern is, Take ProjectGuitar, I have seen many NEWBIES sign in, and within weeks have ratings over 500, Trust me, A high rating is no substitute for phonecalls, and legwork to protect yourself.

Trader ratings are a way ahead, and i am sure many will agree, But there really is no-way to protect the buyer, via this forum at least.

Just be carefull, Intelligent, and do your research and it should go fine
