Thanks for bringing this back to our attention. It seems to have slipped between the seats. I'll work on it a while and see if I can find a fix.

Instead of smilies and avatars, I'm seeing white boxes with a red x in them. I don't know if this is a forum glitch or if my computer is the problem, though.

Looks like some smileys were either deleted or their image paths were changed. I'm using Firefox so I see a few "alt" tags instead of smileys.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this issue but I was laid up with a bad back for the last week.

As you can see this issue has been addressed. There was indeed some problem but a few changes to the server fixed it.

A number of people are emailing me at my home address, saying they can't get into Jemsite. They all have pretty much the same error:

When I edit my profile picture (not my avatar) the image I uploaded doesn't show up. It's no big thing but I was wondering if this could be fixed?

I didn't really catch this post when you posted it. I hope your back is still OK?

Anyway, the problem with the white boxes the red xs in them hasn't returned since it's been fixed so that's really cool.

That's actually been a problem since the changeover to the new software. I noticed it myself a while ago.

Not for nothing, but this particular problem has been ongoing for almost 15 months now...

You can't leave a thread URL in the iTrader "link to thread box" because iTrader still expects the old style URLs that we no longer use, and doesn't accept the current URLs as valid.

Ok so do you automatically get the reviewers badge if you have 10 reviews? And if so I haven't got mine. Also after you get 10 reviews do you get to go in the Jemsite Reviewers Club?

No-the badghe is entered manually by Alan, and he's been away for quite awhile. I've been waiting 2 months for my Sr. Reviewer badge....so hang in there.
