I'm not getting any email notifications either.

I'm seeing them as well. I'm not automatically assuming that it is on purpose as opposed to a possible glitch though, and I'm going to cross my fingers that it's the latter ( certainly for already contributing members). There are a few other glitches in the massive software update we've just gone though, so I guess we'll see shortly one way or the other.

I'm going to limit this thread to legitimate forum problems & quirks only. Legitimate concerns about ads can go in another thread.

The site is in going to be overhauled within a few weeks and there will be some quirks & things to iron out. Unfortunately at this time you're seeing just a small portion of the picture... and only what is perceived as the bad (google ads) not the good & new stuff that is coming.

Some of you - as i told JP55/mike via PM last week - need to keep a little perspective too. Go surf vai.com and ibanez.com exclusively for a month for a little dose of reality.

This is not the web circa 1996. There are gonna be ads so wake up to 2008 people. Contributors are gonna see a whole lot less of them... glen

I can't start a new thread -- when I hit either Submit or Preview, it brings up a blank page marked "Done" and no post shows up. Just me?

(Edit -- been trying off and on all day with same results. No problems on other vBulletin forums, and no problems posting replies. Very curious...)

Is there something going on today with the website?. I checked to see what is new and instead of jemsite I got this coming soon/under construction page from network sulotions.
I delete my cache, purge my dns lookup cache, check if anything got a hold of my browser and nothing. after 2 hours it's ok again. Then on my lunch break, I get this coming soon page again and now it's ok again.
