Hello everyone,

We made a few tweaks for new users & the "verification" process, streamlining things to make less of a burden on the staff that handles the "contact us" emails.

New users can now register & post immediately without needing to post in the verification forum. One slight drawback is you might briefly see initial spam in various forum areas until it's cleaned up, not just the "verification" forum.

It is however very easy to ban, tag as a spammer & delete all threads by said spammer so no worries.

Registered members who are logged in can still "verify" members by looking in their profile you'll see their registration IP address & 1st post IP address. This is useful for example in identifying the location/region where the member registered then posted if dealing with them in the classified area.

Hopefully this system, when a few wrinkles are ironed out, will be quite effective as before, while lessening the support staff burden assisting people doing the verify post then waiting for the automated approval 20-30 minutes later.
