here's a reminder: Steve's going to be at Zone Music in Cotati California (north of SF 45 minutes on Hwy 101)on Saturday May 19, from 11AM to
4:00PM.
Zone is presenting Steve with it's highest honor, a coveted "IN the Zone" award, presented in "Recognition Of His Inspired Creativity and Musical Genius - Including the JEM guitar - an ever evolving Masterpiece.
Joining Steve on stage (this is NOT a performance BY Steve, but rather a celebration OF Steve!) will be Ibanez's President, Bill Reim, and the head of Ibanez National Marketing, Jon Romanowski, PLUS President of NAMM, Mr. Joe Lammond, along with Zone Music CEO Frank Hayhurst.
Members of the JEM design team will be attending, along with the factory guys from Japan (from Hoshino). After receiving his award, Steve will be signing autographs. There will be live music with
Doug Doppler and Tommy Merry, plus the "Ibanez Allstars" -- those fortunate enough to attend this celebration of Steve and his contribution to the Art of Guitar will never forget this day.
This is an amazing celebration by the music industry of one of it's brightest stars, and we wish you could be there! Forthose who can't, we'll send photos afterwards!
