Re: The next decade... (jemsite.com 2/14/2008)

New(ish) and generally useless contributor adding his vote of thanks; I signed up after reading Glen's post about his father and, having lost mine to the same disease some time before, felt a real kinship. I'm pleased to say that Glen and the rest of the community have never caused me to feel any differently.

Well done Glen, now go on holiday sans laptop!

Re: The next decade... (jemsite.com 2/14/2008)

Thanks Glen - Jemsite is my favourite place on the internet!!

The only downside to Jemiste isits tendancy to cause severe GAS - You've made me spend too much money of guitars

Jemsite has it's negative sides

Yes, but then you'd be a lonely guitar geek instead of a guitar geek in the company of other guitar geeks.

Re: The next decade... (jemsite.com 2/14/2008)

Congrats on a decade of excellence, and yet I have only been here for a few years mostly watching the forums before joining up, I have had a great time thus far, and was a reason why I decided to be a paying member.

May I make a suggestion, how about a section for the 5 continents of the world, so that threads can be created in country or area specific. I have seen this work well on other forums I have been on and it works well.

congrats again !!

Re: The next decade... (jemsite.com 2/14/2008)

Tost to you Glen for making a great place for us to share a part of life. Hard to beleave its been that long. This is the only community I have ever been a part of that has lasted this long. I think most here are going to feel the *shiver* of the change but nothing that cant be over come. Good to see your moving hosts and can get that script working.

This place is the iftofacto for Ibanez, even Ibanez's form (apart form a crappy forum setup) cant mach this place.

Glen,

Thanks for all the hard work. I can only imagine how much time it takes to run Jemsite. Glad to know you'll still have your fingers on it all.

Re: The next decade... (jemsite.com 2/14/2008)

Thanks for everything Glen and good luck for the future (both to you and Jemsite). I guess visiting the Jemsite in my very early internet days around 1997 finally hooked me on Ibanez.
