Agreed but, on any RG models IMO.

That would work, I'm specifically targetting the models that have the Wedge inlays

The wedges are the only thing holding me back from ordering the RG2550z.

I'm still toying with the idea of putting a PGM301 neck on an RG2550z

red volume knob in the tone knob slot. RG neck
Gotoh fixed bridge
Wizard (either I or II cuase serial number is sanded down but still has ibanez rg on it. Stamped JUN 97 on the back.) Neck
Schaller tuners!

ALL FOR LESS THAN 175!
I meant this to be the best guitar possible under 175$

Itll be cool!

In the meantime, I've got everything to build THIS guitar...what do you think?

Instead of "Ibanez" it'll say "Freedom" and instead of "Jem" it'll have "777"...from a local decal supplier...
Dimarzio Evo 2 bridge, Evo for the neck and the ???? for the middle...

Mahogany back, quilted maple top or other figured top - suggestions ???, flamed neck, rw frtbrd, wizard neck, duncan p'ups - JB in the bridge, seth in the neck, cosmo hrdwre, alternate monkey grip, square heel joint....
